I'm still waiting on pictures to post, but I thought I'd update anyway. I'm enjoying being home and having the luxury of not needing to be anywhere. I've been working on my thesis as well as doing lots of projects around the house. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get this wretched thesis done sooner rather than later; I want to enjoy the summer without it hanging over my head. :-)
In the meantime, though, I've made about 10 batches of freezer jam, both strawberry and raspberry, helped my mom recover the kitchen chairs, and tomorrow we're sanding and painting an old dresser to bring it into the 21st century. At some point, we're also going to make a shower curtain for the bathroom since I brought my serger home with me. It's a very fun toy, believe me. :-) I've also been swimming a lot in our pool, watching old movies, and trying to work on stuff from my project bin. I went to JoAnn Fabrics yesterday, and all I bought was the stuffing I need to finish making my nephew's Christmas stocking. Since I need a 20-step addiction program for crafting projects and supplies, this lack of purchasing is a major step. I'm quite proud of myself for it. So far, I'm really liking this vacation thing. It's a pity I can't do it all the time.

Glad things are going well at home...I wish I could go swimming in a pool. Good luck with the thesis.
Ahh vacation.........I can't remember the last time I had one of those.
