I dropped my little brother off at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo today, and I managed to keep myself together until after I had said good-bye. Andrew had a big grin on his face the whole time, and you could tell that he was ready and rearing to go. When it was time to me to leave, I reminded him that Mom would never let me leave him behind before, but he laughed and left with a big smile. I know he's going to do incredibly well. I'm going to miss him, but I'm glad I got to be the one to send him off.
Anyway, here are some preliminary pictures from the send-off earlier today (Wednesday). I probably won't get to formatting the others for a while, but I had to post something. I bought a digital camera yesterday, and I'm already having tons of fun with it. Thankfully, the pictures seem to be coming out well, even if I haven't yet figured out how to get rid of the time and date stamp. At least it's set properly, right? At any rate, enjoy the pictures. I'm glad my fingers weren't over the lens today. I think that at long last, I have finally learned how to take a picture!

Hey, it worked finally!
I like the background colors of your blog.
That's so exciting! He looks happy to be a missionary. Was it hard for you to say goodbye? I went with my brother to the MTC and stayed for that presentation where they talk to the missionaries and their parents. I was getting emotional during the church commercials that they showed while we were waiting, but after those, I didn't shed another tear!
I was okay until I started seeing those commercials. "Family, isn't it about time?" Yes, it is, unless you're saying good-bye. He was really happy to go, so I was happy to see him off. I cried a little afterwards (stupid commercials), but all in all it was okay.
Sarah, you need to post more often!
Still waiting for another post!
(No, I don't have a life; why do you ask?)
